Breakfast Postcard from Venice: Le Brioches in Primavera


March 8 was the first day in spring to enjoy breakfast outside. Here you can see a few Easter-inspired briochess from Via Garibaldi. On the one hand, the croissants, and ciambelle (jam-filled cakes) are flavored with soft almond cream (made from vanilla sugar, almond milk and almond paste), while others are covered with a soft milk-raisin frosting. On the other hand, they come filled with apples and marzipan, because after all, in the early days of March, we still use winter ingredients. In addition, the dough is flavored with cinnamon.
